Taproom Bartender

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, sharing information about the brewery's beers and brewing process.

  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses, restocking supplies, and taking out the trash.

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Create a welcoming and lively atmosphere, encouraging customers to relax, socialize, and enjoy the brewery's offerings.

  • Help with special events and promotions, such as beer tastings, live music, and trivia nights.

  • Ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age and follow responsible drinking practices.

  • Collaborate with the brewery's management team to develop best practices and improve the customer experience.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and have fun on the job while promoting the brewery's brand and mission.

  • Help customers select the perfect beer to take home with them by providing recommendations and filling growlers/ crowlers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the craft beer or bartending industry

  • Passion for craft beer

  • Ability to regularly lift cases and maneuver full kegs when required

  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset, focused on the tasks and goals.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in prior positions

  • Maintains professionalism and maturity in the presence of alcohol

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Area Sales Representative

The Five Dimes Area Sales Representative is responsible for growing the brand throughout the assigned territory. This position is heavily focused on Union, Somerset, Middlesex, Hunterdon and Mercer Counties.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short and long term market plan to achieve sales goals within designated territory

  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to Ownership during sales team meetings

  • Build new and grow existing relationships with retail partners through regular communication and account visits

  • Meet daily deadline to accurately enter customer orders in order system

  • Utilize industry data to identify new placement opportunities and expand existing account base

  • Maintain shelf standards to increase brand visibility and increase product velocity

  • Increase brand awareness with retailers and consumers through samplings, events, and promotions

  • Work with Accounting to manage account receivable and timely payment from customers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in craft beer or other alcohol sales

  • Passion for craft beer

  • Ability to regularly lift cases and maneuver full kegs when required

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset, focused on the tasks and goals.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in prior positions

  • Skills : Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc

  • Maintains professionalism and maturity in the presence of alcohol

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Clean driving record along with a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation

  • Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
